This year, Christmas takes on the appearance of stories, stories of women who tell us about memories, businesses, the desire to please and share without conditions. 3 episodes that tell their vision (sometimes a little off-beat) on subjects that are also called art and that punctuate our end-of-year celebrations. The art of receiving, the art of giving, the art of celebrating, all these attentions that make the warmth of these meetings.
This week will be devoted to the Art of receiving in collaboration with Déborah Reyner Sebag, also known under the pseudonym @thedailydeb, who takes us into her world of large tables, small details, the play of volumes and, above all, colour combinations. She tells us how her mother, who could receive thirty people in the twinkling of an eye, passed on to her the taste for perfect tables and how the art of the table constitutes real values. That of pleasure, of simplicity, of sharing, of passing on.
That's how she decided to create her own brand of tableware called VESSEL, which looks like her. Simple, sober, elegant. Pieces made in Portugal and unique by their know-how. The prints of the doilies, like stencils on each plate, give the floral print, the signature of the brand. A 100% artisanal manufacturing process that gives authenticity to these dishes, which are based on family recipes.
